Yolo Group extends Solaride partnership
Agreement focused on innovation renewed for two more years, with Yolo Group supporting Solaride at 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
IT and technology company, Yolo Group, will partner with the Estonia-based Solaride for another two years, providing key support for the educational project focused on the future of sustainable technology.
The extended partnership, built on a mutual understanding that supporting innovation is the best way to create a brighter future, will now run until the end of 2025 and see Yolo Group branding on Solaride’s entry to the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge next year.
Solaride is an educational project focused on popularising technology education among young people, with more than 300 high school students, university students, mentors, trainers and partners taking part.
Asso Soosalu, CEO of Solaride’s third season, said: “Solaride is all about empowering young people who are not afraid to step outside of their comfort zone to make a difference, and we couldn’t have found a better partner to support this mission than Yolo Group. Their ‘fun, fast and fair’ approach has already been a huge help to us, and we’re looking forward to working even more closely with their team to bring our dream of another successful World Solar Challenge to life in 2025.”
Richard Barnwell, Head of Partnerships at Yolo Group, added: “The Solaride team is a huge inspiration to all of us at Yolo Group. We’re on the same page when it comes to putting innovation at the heart of everything. It’s been a real pleasure working alongside them and supporting their epic journey to Australia last October to compete in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. We simply couldn’t turn down the opportunity to do it all again in 2025!”
Yolo Group had previously supported Solaride’s 2023 campaign at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, with Yoloers travelling to Australia to cheer on the team and Yolo Group ambassador Brett Lee meeting the Solaride team at the finish line. Yolo Group has also hosted recruitment workshops to help Solaride attract the best young talent in Estonia.
This time, the two organisations will work to build an even deeper cooperation via joint events, shared career and growth opportunities and mentorship.
